An experience that combines the magic of Christmas with the discovery of Bari, among lights, traditions and authentic flavors.
We’ll explore the old town, a maze of alleyways dominated by the magnificent Norman–Swabian Castle, built by Roger II and fortified by Frederick II of Swabia. Walking its streets, we’ll admire the Cathedral of San Sabino and the majestic Basilica of Saint Nicholas, two of the city’s principal religious symbols.
In the Murattiano district, Bari’s modern heart, we’ll discover elegant historic palaces and important theaters such as the Petruzzelli, the Piccinni and the Margherita.
The experience will be enriched by a tasting of Bari street food, sampling local specialties such as:
Sgagliozze (fried polenta)
Bari focaccia
Panzerotti (filled with mozzarella and tomato, then fried)
The Christmas atmosphere will make the tour even more evocative, among markets, decorations and festive scents.
